“Did you eat?” A familiar phrase growing up, and still to present-day, that which comes through the phone with every call to Home. Cooking was the shining cornerstone of childhood memories. Love often was not expressed through words, but in the abundance of merienda, pan de sal, rice, and all the various condiments and dishes spread across the tablescape.
Origins is an homage and love letter to my Filipino heritage, especially the food. Growing up in a Filipino home, the core and where all the activity took place was in the kitchen.
This collection is made up of artistic vessels that are functional, yet shine on their own to adorn and decorate life.
